The Argentine side has most of the falls and the longer trails, including the walkway to the top of Devil’s Throat. The Brazilian side is shorter and gives the wide panorama. Many visitors do both; tours that combine them are in the “Both sides” category.
Yes. Going between Argentina and Brazil means passing border control on both sides. Entry rules depend on your nationality, so check them for both countries before you book.
Plan roughly one day per side. Combined day tours in our listings run about ten hours or more, so they are a long day; the duration is shown on every offer.
Not always. Several offers are sold with or without a boat ride, and boat availability depends on the water level and weather. The “Boat tours” category lists the offers that include it.
Puerto Iguazú is the Argentine base, Foz do Iguaçu the Brazilian one. Pick the side whose falls you want to visit first; both cities offer pickups for tours to either side.
